Awesome, thanks!

Here's the full stitched cuff, about half done. Hand saddle stitching fine stitch takes absolutely forever. I think it looks good though. I like the stitched strap idea, and did the cuff in oxblood red. I'm on the fence about oxblood.

Alright, I'm bored with cuffs.

Who has a harness? What do you like about it, or more importantly not like? My sub needs a harness, and i want something special.

Id like something with lots of places to tie wrists, both in front and behind. Something that can be either open or closed crotch and open or closed breast. Perhaps sturdy enough to be able to use for some light suspension or instead of using the swing.
Maybe a rope lace up to D rings on the front or back for fitting/size.

Love your work btw.

Thanks mully!

Thought some people might be interested in the process. Undyed, rough cut. It looks like just a few quick cuts, but man it's a lot of work. Every cut inch needs to be sanded, rounded, and full finished so it's smooth against skin. Any fine fitment trim means you're refinishing that edge. It's hard, tons of work, and I love every second!

This will be a form fitting harness, double buckle in back, with shoulder straps, heavy steel orings, and plenty of d rings to add rope and tie limbs. It's not 1/10th finished.

Kinda thinking semi modular so I can integrate a belt/garter. I think of wrapping my sub in it the whole time I'm working ;)

I dont dye stuff black. I use a natural chemical reaction that reacts with the tannins in the leather and turns it permanently black. Kinda neat... and you dont end up with black crap all over you or your sub. Perfect!

Winging this one. I think its going to get shoulder straps coming off the side rings, plus a nice center strap going up... or something. Open to ideas.

Last build picture until the finished product. Gotta color everything, figure out buckles, add the back strap, add on some d-rings, stitch. This is my first harness. If you ever wonder why real leather harnesses are so expensive, its because its an insane amount of work! My lovely sub is out for the weekend, Ill have to wait for her to return to custom fit it to her.

You'll notice the straps are darker towards the bottom. When going around a o-ring, buckle or d-ring, you have to "case" the leather with water to wet-form it. The water washes out oils and such and it has to be reconditioned. It takes longer than just folding it over and banging rivets in, but it stops cracking and bulkiness and ends up looking more finished.

Real leather gear is a pretty intimate product. As you or your sub wears it, it literally becomes infused with you and your own natural oils, which does soften and sort of condition it, and truly makes it your own. Its pretty fun stuff.
