First of all, hi *waves*

My wife and I had a play session a few years ago, where I had her dominate me (it's not really her thing, but she doesn't mind doing it once in a while). I had purchased one of the larger steel ball stretchers, about 1 pound or so. When buying it I thought it would be stainless, but turned out to be mild steel as the finish went dull pretty quickly.

During our session, I had it on for maybe an hour and started getting the most intense pain. Not testicle pain (which is kinda the point, right?) but a serious burning on my skin. As if my scrotum was literally on fire. I had to signal for her to take it off.

I'd like to use one of these again but am obviously a bit hesitant.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Can I expect this to not happen with a higher-grade stainless steel stretcher?

Perhaps there is nickel in the alloy and you happen to have an allergy to nickel.
I had a girlfriend who didn't wear jewelry because many kinds of inexpensive jewelry tend to have nickel and it would give her a rash.
Some kinds of finish, even stainless dull when exposed to sweat and salt from perspiration.
