There was a very similar hood made by some folks at zoom-bizarre.com (web site appears to be down for maintenance), which operated a store at csara.net (domain name appears to have been seized by a domain name squatter.)

Yeah I thought it looked like the Zoom hood as well, but here's a pic of that, and it's along the same lines, but quite a bit different.

I'm sure I saw something like it recently, when I went browsing round a site linked from the forums when somebody else had been asking about leather hoods.
Damned if I can remember where it was though.
Can't see the pic without a flickr account.
If you like the picture posted it would be worth getting a flickr account. Some very good images in that person's account. See them while you can because I'd be surprise if the account isn't deleted by Flickr sooner rather than later. C.

For those that don't want to mess with flickr, here's another pic that shows a little different angle and detail. And a great pic as well.  Anyone recognize the site it originated from?

If that's a way of saying "I think I saw that hood on InSex", then I think I agree with you.

Observing that, while it's not quite a hood, these two items could be used together or separately in a very similar fashion:

Link to upper mask.
Link to lower mask.

I don't own either of them, but I can vouch for the quality of the company that makes them.

After a fruitless search i eventually emailed the website it's featured on....This was their replyHello,Unfortunately most of our equipment is designed and made in house.  That particular hood was designed by PD and built by a leather worker.  Thanks. How gutted am I!!I'm now on the lookout for anyone who can make this design hood just going on the pictures.....I WILL have this hood!Update: Have found somewhere that could possibly make this for us   Would anyone else be interested in purchasing one also if they could re create it?Kinkerella2010-01-19 10:59:46

I was going to suggest Mr S as a possible source.  I'll e-mail and see what they say.

If you do successfully have an identical hood made, I would certainly appreciate knowing how to get in contact with your manufacturer. That hood looks awesome!

That was one reason why I posted those pics of those Mr. S masks. Seems to me, they've already got patterns made for the "over the face" parts. (And the back part of the ensemble is just an open-face hood.)

We have some more excellent pics of this hood as the people we contacted required more pics, had to join a website to get them but will be totally worth it if we can get it made
