I made an Android App to securely encrypt images

Hi

Since i got into chastity, I researched the methods to release myself when my SO isn't here. There is always the classic mail the key to yourself. But the most easy and convenient way would be: keys right in your pockets..but you can't access them until a certain time passes! Bonus points if your SO was the one who takes the photos and returns your phone back to you!

So I developed an Android App that encrypts images for a certain period of type.
For example; take a photo of the combination lock or hide the keys in a combination safe (take photo of the numbers or a step-by-step unlock notes...etc) for extra security since combination locks can be easily cracked.

Features:
  • Support for up to 20 image captures to avoid taking a blurry unreadable images
  • No limits on holding date * Built-in image viewer
  • Export function to export images to PC/Mac, either to improve readability or save original high-res photos!
  • 128-bit AES encryption, no way around it!
  • Per-user unique decryption key; even if you images were stolen, ONLY you can decrypt them.
Distribution type: APK file

Privacy: I swear on me mum, internet access is only used to query the time so you don’t cheat!, this App ONLY makes a connection to pool.ntp.org. Wireshark the App if still unsure! Read/Write external storage obviously to read(decrypt) write(encrypt) images.

Screenshots, Tutorial & download at my blog (shameless self-promotion)

Bug reports and suggestions are most welcome. Thanks for reading!

Welcome to the Bound Forum -- and what an intriguing app! :D

Since the link explains why there will probably never be an iOS version, are there currently any plans for a computer (Win, Mac, other) version?

Hello, thanks for the welcome :D .
Porting this app to computer (win/mac/linux) should be easy as it's written in Java, if there are demands for a computer version then sure!
The only problem you'll into is holding the laptop sideways to take a picture or have the inconvenience of having to manually copy images from Camera to PC..

Thanks for the suggestion

Sure thing! I'd definitely be interested in a PC-based version, since it's got to be better than the ancient Java-based program I've been using up until now.

Maybe it's because I've gotten older, but I'm still not used to having my "kinky stuff" on a smartphone that I'm (probably) more likely to lose, or where someone else might accidentally see something. Over the years, I THINK I've gotten pretty good at hiding most of the kinky stuff on my PC, so that just seems easier. :)

I see, that's a valid concern, I initially wanted to add a password screen with a fixed password like "opensesame" or something to prevent nosy people but moved it as a sellout feature, but now I've removed the donation page link and might implement the password screen. That could solve this concern!
@Everyone, please do give my reddit a read, a lot of thoughtful ideas by others and concerns about this App are addressed here:

Way late to the game, but, for you iOS users the app you want can be found in the app store under Photo Time Lock - Time Delay Image Lock. Been using it for years. :)
