POV mummification
POV mummification
Just thought about this a minute ago. We always see video's of people getting mummified or self mummification or pictures before and after but has anyone tried using a gopro and head strap to record their Point of View while its happening or while they are doing it.
For self-ers... I think it would be an interesting way to share and relive the experience.
For having someones assistance, well its up to them if they want to be posted in a video but still cool to see.
Also those camera's can take a photo every 5 seconds to give a time laps of it happening.
Just another thought...
What about self mummification and having a partner come home to find you stuck and does...... with you. It would be awesome to see that from your point of view.
Thanks.

Re: POV mummification
A Gopro cam doesn't have to be limited to just mummification either, it could show a personal pov from any bondage session. An advantage over other photography is that lack of anonymity for the self-ers would never be a problem (unless a mirror was in view).
Regardless of whether it's mummification or bondage, self or with a partner- a great ending for a Gopro clip would be a blindfold or hood slipped over the cam's lens.

Yeah, that would be cool! Most of my mummy sessions are solo. My partners aren't available a ton of the time.
Re: POV mummification
there are some really nice ideas coming to my mind...
from wearing the camera onchest, on the head, mounted to a pole where you spin around / spin of the wrapping..
loads of stuff to use...

A cam with a headmount aimed down at one's body as it is being wrapped (or tied) would be another great way to share your pov. It wouldn't necessarily have to be a Gopro either, and even if it's a short series of stills instead of a video clip, any cam could work if positioned in the right place.
The main thing is to have the camera's view correspond to your own personal point of view and whatever may be happening to you.

More than interesting, and doable also:
- Timelapse is one frame for n seconds (25xn frames in video) so You save 25xn times card space.
- Time is limited, but any external battery will do.
- Wide angle matches (and exceeds) real pov angle (unlike the usual porn pov).
- I do timelapse with dslrs and gopro-like cameras, and now I'll give it a try and post here the results (no video...only review...)
No chance to try it until next year (home with all family!), but ... I'll be back!.
Merry Christmas,

Re: POV mummification
Well, Just thought about something else along the lines of video and point of view.
I've been messing around with small micro controllers like the Arduino. With that I can make a device with any kind of input and any kind of output.
Me and a friend were brainstorming the pov idea and thought it would get boring to look at if your just there laying around and enjoying the stuck'ness for hours. So why not make it interesting. Have the camera detect motion or lack of motion and trigger a shock or vibrator. Just something to make the video interesting.
That's where the arduino came in to play.
I could set it up to a PIR sensor. The same sensor you would have for motion detection for an alarm system. Motion would act as a trigger and turn on a device and also start the recording. Then it would automatically stop when motion subsided.
It could be used to drive a hitachi for X amount of time or ten's unit driven by music and the camera would record the outcome.
I've always been interested in biofeedback that could drive other devices and this fall's into that category.

A shock or vibrator would be excellent motivation for an exercise session of mummified writhing and squirming.lttk wrote: So Have the camera detect motion or lack of motion and trigger a shock or vibrator. Just something to make the video interesting.
Whether it's triggered by motion or stillness would depend on whether it's a reward or punishment for the subject.
An excellent idea for pov!
