Small update
-------------------------

so the winning design as seen in link above (although not finished) will be the day cycle gui, this gui has 2 extra portions to it, 1 is the events window, which will be able to have pictures at a later date, but at the moment events will still be text based for now, second is the ingame menu, where you will be able to save/load/change options/quit, pretty standard to most games, now i may change the event window bit, if i find a clean route for it, however at the moment having it nested in the day cycle, might be the best choice, least the cleanest as of right now.

The Gui contains:

- Button section/extra's (left most menu back)
- Picture Section (Top Middle, and has the Bedroom image in it temporarily)
- Text Section (Bottem middle)
- Information and Game Buttons/extra's (Buttons like the menu button which will carry over to the event instances with the information)

times a bit limited at the moment but im slowly dredging away at this, once i have the gui done ill get the gameover/bad ending stuff done, then ill start on the events system.

Updated main post with the Skinners Resource rather then the Debug file, as i have been adding more, and find it a bit easier to do it this way, basicly just make sure your buttons are around the same size, the Game will resize as needed, but you can use my buttons sizing as a guideline, or experiment, however i wont be able to release a testing file with it as i still have alot more graphics to add in, once im getting close to new demo release you will be able to test it as ill release publicly the test demo with the content in, and when said happens people intrested in skinning can ask for gui parts to have there own gui components if they feel it would add more, at the moment all backgrounds use one of 2 components, and i am sure people will at some point in time want them to use more, however as my times limited at the moment ill be just using that setup till people tell me otherwise who want to have more control on customizing the gui, as all resources are remaining unlocked the skinners resource may give away as to the known progress for the different situations at the moment, this is just what was planned for the original game and can be seen in the content/situations folder if anyone is intrested at all.

As you're stumbling along you feel something grip your shoulder, making you lose balance and fall to the ground, you begin to turn your head and notice a haggered looking man, 'Hey, are you alright?' he asks as he begins to reach down to you, being drunk and startled you give his hand a swift smack thinking he was a rapist or a murderer more so due to the location you were in rather then the first glimpse of him, 'Get away from me!' you slur, as you nervously pick yourself up, but as you begin to move he grabs a hold of your arm, 'Miss, please I'm sor-' he starts to say, however you in a drunken state and still extremely worried about being raped or killed kick him in the groin and begin to run as fast as you can, 'Guh... please.. I just needed some money for food...' you think you hear behind you as your running, but you are too drunk and nervous to realize what had really transpired.

Now events will be quite a bit more extensive and this is only Part 1 of the intro out of 3 parts, each part however will have its own sections, all sections can then be added to for more random picked alternatives at a later date, hope this was intresting, or at least informative for people intrested in the project.

Ended up going a bit larger a route, intro's will probably be quite long in terms of text as a example for how it will end up now here is the first part of one of the Gullible randomly picked routes.

This story began years ago, little to your own knowledge, back when you were full of too much innocence and too little common sense, not realizing what your actions may bring for you in your future.

one day, as you were having a stroll in one of the many city park locations in your city, losing yourself in the beauty around you, you are unaware of a presence near by.

Walking along you pass by a group of black guys loitering around some park benches, "Hey girl, what are you doing on this beautiful day" one of them asks with a grin on his face, "Just having a nice walk" you reply with a smile, "Well if you aren't to busy later maybe you might like to come with us to a party, can give you my digits" he says as he takes out his cell, you stand there thinking for a few minutes, but feeling that these guys seem alright you nod with the same warm smile on your face as you take out your cell and wait for him to give you his number, "Alright if you're still up to it around 10 send me a message, I can come by and pick you up on my way there" he says as him and his friends walk off in the direction you came from, you notice a few of them eyeing you up as they pass by you, feeling a bit flustered by there stares you continue on not giving a second glance back.

Later on around 10:00pm you decide to give the guy from before a call, seeing as nothing interesting was happening with any of your friends, after all you thought they looked like they could be trusted, and you did feel a bit hot when they parted.

After sending the guy a text with your home address, he arrived outside within a half hour, "Hey, glad you decided to come" he says as you get into his car, "Ya, I'm glad you asked me, there isn't anything going on tonight" you say as you flash him a smile, a little bit over a half hour you notice you're being taken into one of the hoods and find yourself outside a house with a few dozen people outside and obviously plenty more inside, music pounding across the neighborhood, but you feel at ease when you notice theirs plenty of other women around, you're lead into the house and you see the guys friends all busy talking to other women, you are dragged to one of the sofa's free, as your looking around the guy who brought you here goes off and brings you back a drink, as the night goes on and you receive more drinks while making small talk with him, you start to doze off.

As you begin to come too, you have a hard time seeing, and realize you feel someone rubbing against you and kissing you, "Wh-what the fuck!" you begin to stammer out in a raised voice, "Hey, don't worry just enjoy it" someone reply's, "No what the fuck!" you start to yell, pushing at whoever was on you, being able to push him off enough to slide out from under him, as you get up you hit the lights, and see its the guy who brought you here, "I'm fucking leaving you creep, I thought you were nice, but I didn't come here for this, I was fucking drunk!" you yell at him, grabbing your clothes and putting on what you needed and start to head for the front door, some of the guys and girls giving cat calls and other derogatory chatter, you wait for a taxi and head home, as your on your way you take a moment to feel your pussy, but find no fluid, allowing you to heave a sigh of relief, little did you know that this night would be coming back into your life in a big way.

Small update:

2 of the Intro Part1's are fully finished with the exception of a spelling/grammar mistake here and there (maybe, im not a very good writer, but i do try my best and run it through a few spell checking situations)

At the moment the writing is taking me most of my actual work time as my writing process takes a bit either way once the intro's are done will be gameovers which are alot shorter, and easier to randomize, so ill be doing around 4-6 of those, then going to the day cycle/event system, then the escape system, isnt as simple as im making it sound, but thats all that needs to get finished before the new demo is done and the start on new content is on the go, on a side note there is going to be alot more content then the old demo in way of intro and gameover's, however situations is still only on Home invasion, as each situation will have its own event listings, and as such i will be finishing off each situation enough that i think its done before moving on to the next situations.

alright had the flu past while so havent gotten much done, minus 1 of the intro part 1's which may need to be rewritten as i am pretty sure i was under the influence of the start of the flu and was a tad bit delirious, but can probly salvage most of it, so it isnt a loss or anything, still sick so im taking a breather till i feel better.

figured i might as well make a post as im not sure whent ill start feeling better, probly next few days if im still feeling crappy ill relook on the intro part that needs a rewrite as i am a bit clearer headed today then yesterday, but im not planning on getting back into it for a few days in general as this had left me a bit bed ridden and as such ive been mildly unmotivated, but will get back on it soon enough.

Alright starting to feel quite a bit better, still a bit unmotivated but thats more so just the sustained sick feeling i have in my stomach, either way i am slowly getting back to writing the intro stuff, however i need to rewrite that earlier one i did while i was sick reread it and noticed it may not be that great for having in the starting intro selection.

Alright so got a few people telling me for the past while how the current stuff kinda looks wall of texty, and as such i am (Sigh) doing another rewrite, i have finished one down completely and should be able to set the ones i had done for the 2 page setup into this new one which is going to be 3-4 pages per, this means that i can expand on (where possible) for the ones basicly done, which is good in some cases if able on certain event chains and depending on how many pages i settle on which im thinking 4 depending on how this first intro part 1 i have in the new setup renders in the engine, some of the ones i had finished i had to cut content on, so having extra room will allow me to be able to add in some of that content (however will be rewriting it from scratch for the content i cut as i was dumb and didnt keep copies of the old stuff, more so cause i was trying to push through faster, however now im keeping each in its own now)

anyways not really sure if i can do spoiler tags so ill just put up the current working format intro part 1

One day, heading out for a walk from your usual hang out, listening to some of your music, you make your way through the city, not paying much attention to anything aside from when you cross the street.

As you're going you have the uncomfortable realization that you could really use a restroom, looking up to your surroundings you find that you're in a fairly run down looking part of town.

Continuing on your way, you notice a 7-11, you head in and ask where the washrooms are, the attendant has a rather creepy smile on his face, but he points to the back and rather than peeing your pants you head to the washroom.

Entering the bathroom you notice how badly kept it is and wonder if you should head somewhere else, but are abruptly stopped by the feeling of needing to go right now, and quickly grab some toilet paper and place it on the bowl, sitting down as you finish.

As you're doing your business you hear the front doors bell ding, and a bunch of laughter and conversation, at that point you notice that you hadn't locked the door, and try to speed up so you can get out of there before someone walks in on you.

You finally finish without incident and get up and adjust your clothes, as your leaving the washroom, you see the attendant talking and laughing with a group of "+CaptorEthnicityl+" guys and notice him give a look to one of the guys and a nod towards you, not giving this much thought, you leave the 7-11, and put your earphones back on.

Little ways past the 7-11 you stop and look around to see if you can find something that you recognize to get your bearings and notice a street name that should intersect with main street, and with a sigh of relief you start heading towards it.

Just as you start going you feel a hand on your shoulder and quickly grab your earphones and pull them out as you turn to see that its the group of "+CaptorEthnicityl+" guys from the 7-11.

"+chr(34)+"Hello, what is it?"+chr(34)+" you ask with a puzzled look on your face, but notice that the group is slowly moving to encircle you, making you start to step back cautiously.

"+chr(34)+"Hey girl, no worries we're just curious if you wanted to come and party with us a bit"+chr(34)+" one of the guys says, the group continuing to try and surround you slowly like wolves stalking prey, giving you a increasingly uneasy feeling.

"+chr(34)+"Um, I really need to head home, thanks for the offer though.."+chr(34)+" you say and quickly turn towards the street you were heading for, but as you do you feel a grip on your arm, looking to the side you see one of the guys trying to circle you has a hand on your arm, and feel a knot fill the pit of your stomach.

You begin to feel a fight or flight response to the situation and quickly pull your arm but to no avail as the guy holding it keeps hold while being pulled closer, you quickly swing your arm and impact on the side of his skull making him let go and turn, giving you the chance to sprint off.

"+chr(34)+"Eer-raAHHH YOU BITCH!"+chr(34)+" he says, you hear a bunch of heavy footsteps behind you strengthening your stride, you take a few turns through some alleyways doing your best to lose your tail.

Taking a little bit of time to listen for any loud running or otherwise, and hearing nothing you start to relax, when all of a sudden you're grabbed by the waist from behind and thrown into the side of a dumpster, looking back at you as you look up is the guy you hit, a distorted with anger face beading down on you.

"+chr(34)+"Alright bitch, you like it rough, we can play rough.."+chr(34)+" he says as he begins to move toward you, grabbing hold of your ankles and pulling you towards him, "+chr(34)+"No! fuck off! Leave me alone!"+chr(34)+" you begin screeching at him as you start to kick your legs trying to release his hold on you.

"+chr(34)+"Oh? whats wrong, I thought you liked it rough?" he says with a sneering grin on his face, as he grabs hold of both of your ankles under one of his arms, and begins to unzip his fly, and maneuver his cock out into the open, your desperate attempts to get your legs free still proving to be a useless effort.

As he moves in closer grabbing hold of your leg as he moves his hand up to remove your shorts, his cock in plain sight making you renew your struggle and start to move your hand around looking for something to use to get out of this situation, you feel a heavy cold to the touch metal object, before the guy realizes you have a metal pipe slammed into the side of his head, causing him to keel over in a flash.

You get up tears visibly flowing from your eyes, looking at him hoping he was unconscious or dead, seeing no sign of movement, you move on, the idea of stamping on his dick or kicking him in the balls looming in your head, but the fear of it causing him to wake up and continue what he was doing kept you walking.

A while later you find your way to main street, and continue walking home fear having left its mark on you as you keep a steady pace, even while in familiar territory, having reached your house you quickly head into your room and sit on the bed burying your head into your lap and finally let everything out, in the midst of it, you place your hand to grab your cell phone to make a much needed call, and realize both your wallet and your cell phone are gone.

This realization takes a hold of you, and all you do is hope that it didn't drop when you hit that dumpster, the horrible fact that remained would become a horrifying truth later on in time.

Sorry for the lack of communication - been having issues writing latly, as well as real life stuff (wife/other shit) taking up alot of my time, as it sits now im just looking around for another writer or 2 so i can just focus on programming, but if i dont find anyone who can hold up the mantle for the writing (meaning someone who is as close to how i write or better - grammar wise and content wise) ill still be working on it slowly for the writing part, but im hoping i can find someone who can take up the written aspect of the project, since its been very stale in terms of progress at the moment, anyways is as best a quick update as i can do, hopfully next few days will put to light someone intrested.

Long ass time since last post, i have resumed working on my AIF projects, however i had to abandon the AGK situation as it was leading to a inevitable problem, well a few problems, the main one being that Mac users would never be getting a version, as i had a few issues towards grabbing a mac developers account, the details i dont feel like getting into.

So to aleviate this so that all computer and (possibly mobile users) can play the games, ive started into learning HTML/CSS/Javascript with Twine/sugarcube as the base.

I am working through 2 side projects to learn the basics and the more advanced techniques.

I have started on the simplest side project which will end up being a open world with Non linear story arcs, the content that will end up being in it hasnt been fully decided and only the ones i will PROBLY put in no matter the situation are supplied, at the moment of this post the intro has been finished (minus some editing which i am in wait for, and some expansion of the universe information) but it can give a slight view into what to expect in the type of writing involved in the story arcs.

the repository is here: https://nolitimere.neocities.org i have all of the current project listings up but only Lost Will is available for viewing, as i am paying most of my attention to that, it is the easiest project but all of these projects are large in terms of work load each, so i will sometimes work on the others, but i will be paying most of my attention to the current project which is lost will.

As for this forums intrest this game will have Boundage based scenes i just haven't had time to work out what it will detail, and if it will be main story arc or side arc's and how indepth it will get.

A heads up i wont be updating on this site much unless its a major addition as i am building the city to use in the game, and have limited time, so ill be updating the repository link but unless its a major update i wont post, Breakdown is being ported over as best i can, but i may alter as i see fit from the last demo.

intro has been worked out enough that it probly only needs some minor additions/fixes for the learning curve side project, as it sits i could probly go to remaking breakdown now, but i am going to continue and finish this lost will project first, but its already been extremly helpful for my learning, so finishing it may lead to better understanding either way.

Second story progression is underway.

Progress on the side project is going well, and i probly know how to make breakdown work out in twine already, however im going to finish this side projects first story arc before i get to working on breakdown, i have already started setting up variables that will be needed and may start on working out the skeleton to how it acted earlier, but will see on how much time i have.

Finished the tutorial story section of the side project, so will be working on its mechanics adding more areas and more, and while im doing that ill be setting up breakdown again on twine, will have a basic setup for it done while im working on the next parts of the side project, but will be basic, will post up here when i get it setup.
