RE: Stories
Hi fellow perverts. I have about 3 stories in progression at present that I hope to finish soon. One thing that gets me as that my stories do not seem to hit that magic oomph. I just don't know what it is. Perhaps someone could say? Anyway, to get round this, I am in discussion with someone for a two way story. You will get it as it goes along. One person will write their bit and the other will answer. Hopefully it will not be long coming. I am looking forward to it.

RE: Stories
One thing I've noticed when reading your stories is that at times, they take on what I call a, "Shopping List" style of writing, where the events are told in a matter of fact way, then quickly move on to the next. This style often leaves the feeling that the narrator is bored or uninterested in what's going on. However, this seems to be happening less and less with your more recent stories.Does that make sense?Darkraptor12010-06-15 13:06:18

RE: Stories
When I write my stories I'll write a few paragraphs then leave them and sleep on it, when I get back to writing I go over the unedited section and read it again. I "Filter" it for any phrases, words or sentence structures that are being repeated too much and change them to something more original. This, hopefully, prevents my story from getting too stale and boring and keeps the description of the action engrossing. It also gets me back into the "Mood" of the story so the next few paragraphs come naturally and keep flowing.
