Hello everyone

Unread post by Binky Bunny »

Hi all,

I am from the UK – North West. Female, in my early 40s and married.
I have always had an interest in bondage, and when I stumbled on this forum I was pleased to find that I was in no way alone in tying myself up as a teenager all those years ago. It definitely seems to be something that some people are drawn to, no matter their background. Over the years my interest has developed into other BDSM areas.
I would say that I am kinkier than my husband, in fact I think he’d be happy with a vanilla relationship. However, I know I am lucky as he has been very willing to explore my kinks and has admitted that he enjoys tying me into compromising positions and then playing with me. But it is nice to know there are others out there with similar needs. I love reading, particularly erotic literature and romances. I am also a budding author. One of these days I may get around to finishing something and post it on the forum.

Anyway, looking forward to meeting people with similar interests.
Binky

I'm happy your husband is at least willing to explore your kinks.
Who of you is the dom?

Aww, thank you for the welcome and the avatar.

My husband is the Dom, and although not a natural, he is learning ;)

I have a similar problem. At the moment, I have four or five stories that need finishing. Previously, I have reread my nearly-finished stories and decided that they were derivative rubbish and deleted them. I have not deleted anything recently but the constant rework does not help me finish anything.

Maybe it's too early but you might try to switch the roles so he can get more empathy.

Role switching can be fun and helpful to develop the relationship. However, I would imagine that you would be more gentle with him than you would like him to be with you.

We've discussed switching and it isn't something either of us is interested in.
