Drawing tips?
I am currently practicing drawing computer animation. I want to at some point have a gallery worth looking at on deviantart. I am still a novice at this, and I am wondering if anyone had any tips for working on adobe illustrator. I have a drawing tablet. You can see one of my drawings here.http://cygnuskitty.deviantart.com/art/C ... 1423969288 please help! Thanls!

Re: Drawing tips?
Okay, forget it. Clearly none of you have skills in this area.
Re: Drawing tips?
I'm a pencil artist, and I looked at your drawing. I didn't see anything wrong with it, it was well shaped and colored, it looked fine to me. Just start making more and you will get better!

Re: Drawing tips?
I'm not an artist, but I think that the "fursona" in question looks just fine!
My skills at drawing humanoids and animals pretty much stop at stick figures.
I certainly don't -- if a drawing requires a straightedge and a pencil, I used to be pretty good...oh, wait, that's not "drawing," that's "drafting."KinkyTrash wrote:Okay, forget it. Clearly none of you have skills in this area.

Re: Drawing tips?
kinkytrash, you are right most of us have no talent in this area, but you dont have to be ab ass about it.
Re: Drawing tips?
I do or rather did have some drawing skills- at least good enough to be printed in some Bondage Life magazines many years ago. However, I haven't done any more in a long time and have no experience with CGI.
Although I'm not into furries, the 'fursona' looks fine to me.

Re: Drawing tips?
Franzia,
What picture and issue of Bondage Life? I have a few old issues.
KinkyTrash,
Part of the problem with this discussion is that it is so far off topic as to preclude a good response. I am a pretty good computer artist, but this forum is not really about generic computer art. Besides, I like to keep the kinky discussions pretty much separated from other interests.
- Stahlketten.

Re: Drawing tips?
Stahlketten,
Bondage Life issues: #17 42 50 52 55 61 65 78 79 80
Also some other Harmony magazines from that period:
Bondage Parade #9 #39
Bondage Fantasies #1
Bondage Gallery #4 #7
This is only a partial list as my files from that long ago are somewhat disorganized, so just look for any art with a signature similar to my forum name. Tarsis and a couple of others were always far better than me, but Robert Harmon and later, Kristine Imboch did print everything I sent them. I guess I can't complain about that.

Forgive me, I had waited for so long, until the point that I did not expect any replies. I did not notice untill today...tiemeupalso wrote:kinkytrash, you are right most of us have no talent in this area, but you dont have to be ab ass about it.
Re: Drawing tips?
Its ok Kinkytrash, that's the impression I got- you just bumped the thread because you really wanted some replies. And it worked.
Stahlketten had a point though- this may not be an ideal place for generic art or CGI advice. But even specific bondage (or kink) drawing tips could be difficult to explain without video or a series of photos, like a "Bondage Drawing Guide" book or even a TV show, something like: "Franco Saudelli's 21 Steps to Better Bondage Art".
