Altering stories
Why is it that this new site keeps changing the way stories are written? I've been looking at some of my old ones and the punctuation, paragraphs etc have been changed.
I used to be weird and kinky. But then I joined Bound Forum and became normal.

A quick, simple and cross platform way to edit images can be found with Pixlr. Just upload the image and change to your hearts content and download it again. I've used it many of times in the past when I need something quick and not using my normal hardware.

I think the gist of it was to fix things you will need to resubmit your story posts. You have them on GU and Gromet's sites so hopefully a few cut and pastes will see you sorted.
Re: BoundForum Problems/Solutions/Ideas
Hi admin
I am trying to send a PM to a forum member
I have posted 12 times on this forum, does that permit me now to send PM's?
The message is still in my 'outbox' and hasn't moved to my ''sent messages' box.
Does this mean my PM has not been sent yet?
Thanks for your help

It means it has not been opened.
Have you checked that member has logged in recently?

Yes, I have checked and they haven't.
Re: BoundForum Problems/Solutions/Ideas
Hello everyone, I'm probably going to sound like a broken record here, but I'm having real problems logging in!
I've set this account up for now, Noel8, but I'd rather continue with my old one, which was Noel.
I'm buggered if I can remember what the password is. I've had Noel activated, but this forum let me log in as I don't know the password.
Help, what do I need to do!?

Re: BoundForum Problems/Solutions/Ideas
For those of you who are or have been having trouble with the forum in the past 16 hours things should be resolved soon. I changed the domain to a new registrar host and after some DNS issues (typos), it should propagate and clear up.
The new host doesn't mean any changes really, just a move to what I consider to be a more stable and trustworthy company.

Are there PM issues?
I've attempted to send a PM to someone and when I hit submit I can't see my message in the "sent file". Am I doing something wrong or is there a problems with the PM feature? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Re: Are there PM issues?
Yes I have. I typed the message and hit "submit". It didn't show up in my "Outbox" or "Sent". Thanks for your help though.MsBehavin wrote:Have you checked your "out box"... they may have not opened it yet.

Hello there. I was wondering if there was a mobile version of the site coming in the future. Not sure what would need to be done for that but I've seen other forums translate very well to a phone or other mobile device. Thanks!

I'm not sure any changes are needed for mobile access to the site. I've accessed the site as is from a Galaxy 2 tablet several times. I think I've read posts from members who accessed the site from their smart phones before too. Basicaly, If you have iternet access, you can access the site. Now, if I'm wrong, I expect someone from the site to set me straight.

Re: BoundForum Problems/Solutions/Ideas
I don't have any plans of making this forum more mobile friendly at the time. If there is enough demand there is a mobile theme that's available for phpBB forums. The drawback would be your profile would be in either desktop or mobile mode. There is no built in auto-detect.CathyTGNJ wrote:Hello there. Re: BoundForum Problems/Solutions/Ideas
Here's a question. How was this forum so active, but when it switched styles, I feel like no one posts anymore?
Re: BoundForum Problems/Solutions/Ideas
I've noticed that too. I was gone for awhile due to a technological handicap, and I return to what does seem to be a slower paced forum.

Re: BoundForum Problems/Solutions/Ideas
I noticed that too, although I don't post much cause I'm not that familiar with some of the threads. When I come across something I know a little about, I'll jump in with both feet tied.
