One of the problems might be export or import restrictions. China has none but the EU and USA treat these toys like munitions or military hardware and permits are needed for export. In NZ this is probably not an issue.

Recently finished making two working keys for Mattatuck handcuffs. I now have a couple sets that work with no problems and a couple sets that have some issues. Hopefully the issues can be fixed.

With steel restraints, I have usually been locked up without any safety release mechanisms of any kind.

A less complicated way to get the same result would be to use a timer cap for medicine bottles. The cap has a clock that shows the time since the bottle was last opened.
