Nice project. I have seen that quality only in purchased devices. Homemade stuff usually is functunal not visual...And I agree, the bottom hole should only be in the center, it wouls look weird otherwise....

You could add a cross bar at the max penatration depth....That way, you get an impaler and a horse at the same time.The diddo will go no deeper than the crossbar which will add it's own torment.
