Posting Images FAQ

This question seems to be pop up quite a bit so hopefully this will help out everyone out there.There are really two ways to post a picture on the forum and each have pros and cons.

Personally, I recommend and use option #2 myself.

Method 1 - Forum Hosting

Below the posting box there are three tabs and one of them is 'Upload Attachment'. You can point it to a file on your hard drive, give it a comment and add the file to the post. This method will allow up to medium sized images but is not ideal if you uploading a lot of them. It also doesn't display them well, but it is one stop shop without having to deal with outside tools.

Method 2 - Imgur

Before anyone posts saying there are other file sharing services out there. THEY ALL SUCK. Imgur is stable, fast and allows adult images (not officially, but they have never been known to take any down). Imgur is as simple as it comes. Upload the image by browsing your hard drive or even drag and drop it onto the page. Once uploaded they provide you with sharing links. Copy the BBCode text and paste it into your post. Presto! You're done.

I've posted a couple of pics but I can't find any rules on what is and isn't allowed. I've been relatively safe up till now but thought I'd ask.

We posted what could be called risque' photos a few weeks back, with the intention of 'testing the waters' to see if objections came. None did and in fact, all we're complimentary.

But we're into bondage moreso than photography so obviously amateurs like us can't do high quality magazine style shoots. But, we conveyed a glimpse into a small section of one particular side of us, none but Carmen and I have ever seen.

Lets put it this way. There are fetishes I enjoy and those I don't. The same is true for everyone but here is where the diversity factor enters the equation. The combinations of likes and dislikes are more numerous than the stars of the heavens. I for one can understand, and in fact, I am thoroughly enjoying learning about the fetishes and their motivations others hold dear. Interests and desires that I would never have given a passing thought to as little as a year ago, I sit here visualizing how the minds of others work and for that, to everyone who contributes, I thank you all.

Time to look again on the 1200 pixels wide rule. It is definitely killing this forum

The limitations on images has killed off the idea for a few how-to threads and appropriate illustrations. Hosting images elsewhere is not something I want to get into for adult subjects.
